Members of the Jewish Labour Movement took part in a March and Rally to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the “BATTLE OF CABLE STREET”, when London’s East End took to the streets to stop Oswald Mosley’s fascist Blackshirts from marching through its then largely Jewish districts.
Jews stood with those from the Bangaldeshi community and Trade Unions to recall when ‘Mosley did not pass and East London routed the fascists’.
